This page describes how billing, trials, taxes, and refund requests work for ClosetPilot. It is provided for clarity; your relationship with us is also governed by our Terms of Service.
Subscriptions and one-time payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe or update your plan, you may complete checkout on Stripe-hosted pages. Ongoing billing, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation are available through the customer billing portal linked from your ClosetPilot account (Account → Manage billing).
Current plan prices and features are shown on our pricing page. Paid plans may include a 7-day free trial where stated; after the trial, the advertised recurring price applies unless you cancel before the trial ends. The Digital Closet tier may be offered at $0 but still requires completing Stripe checkout to start your subscription record—there is no charge for that tier unless we state otherwise.
Listed prices may not include sales tax, VAT, or other government charges. Where applicable, tax is calculated at checkout (or on your invoice) based on your location and current rules. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase other than taxes on our income.
You may cancel your subscription through the Stripe billing portal (available from Account in the app). Cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless the portal shows otherwise. You remain responsible for charges incurred before cancellation is effective.
We do not guarantee refunds for subscription fees or partial periods. You may contact us if you believe a charge was made in error or you have an exceptional circumstance.
Email legal@closetpilot.com with your account email and a short description. We will review requests in good faith; resolution may include refund, credit, or denial in line with these terms and applicable law. Chargebacks should be a last resort and may result in account restrictions.
We may update this page from time to time. Material changes to how we handle billing will be reflected here and, where appropriate, communicated in the product or by email.
